Prior to what would eventually be called Wink & Nod, I had the opportunity to create an identity for a speakeasy-themed bar in Boston’s South End. Initially dubbed “Blind Tiger”, I aimed to convey a sense of history through vintage-inspired illustrations and hand lettering. I was intrigued by the idea of infusing gritty visuals in a contemporary environment, adding levels of texture to a vibrant setting.
