Rebranding a classic. The Cape Cod Jewelry Collection by LeStage is part of a storied company history focused on quality, design, and craftsmanship.

LeStage Manufacturing and Marathon Company were established in Massachusetts in 1863 and 1897, respectively, both family owned and operated. In 2016, Marathon Company (still family owned) acquired LeStage, combining a legacy many jewelers can only dream of. They have been continuously manufacturing fine jewelry in the United States for over 150 years and together have long established a reputation for integrity, reliability, quality, and service.

Due to its popularity and classic simplicity, The Cape Cod Jewelry® Collection, particularly its best selling item, the Cape Cod Bracelet®, has recently been the subject of counterfeiting, sold throughout several jewelry shops in and around the New England area. Our team was tasked to give the brand a unique voice, retain and emphasize its equity in the market, and inform customers that if you’re not buying a LeStage product, it simply isn’t the real deal.

Below is a look at one of my concepts for the brand identity, some of which was integrated into the final brand rollout.
