The goal was to revitalize a Boston fast-food staple positioned for growth. My team considered all visual elements, from paper goods to interior art and online communications—providing a fun, distinct experience. A local favorite amongst the college crowd, Griddler’s needed to update their brand to focus on the locally sourced ingredients that make their products so tasty. The brand’s flexibility was crucial, as other locations would soon follow.
We partnered with Bespoke Hospitality to revitalize a hometown favorite—instilling an energetic personality and updated identity, characterized through playful copywriting, illustrations, hand-lettering, and photography. The brand’s second location at Boston Common would become the model for future branches. A fully cohesive program includes a paper goods system for dine-in and takeout, much improved interior spaces, and digital assets highlighted by an updated website.
